Wow, haven't had to fight an issue like this since the 90's, I thought the last 30 yrs should have made this type of issue a thing of the past!
A big shout out to Rip in Franklin and to JD_GT for their insights with the simplest solution drawing from the TEMP/TMP environment variable change to the C:\TEMP dir
This fix should have been flagged at the top of the installation issues on the Intuit home page and since it followed from 2021 to 2022 it sounds like they need to clean house with their programmers and QC... sloppy work
