Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Yes, my AMEX was charged immediately as soon as I submitted.  TurboTax and the IRS should not charge clients until the return is "accepted."  

 

After I went back in and clicked "fix errors" then TurboTax fixed the glitches automatically and said it was good to go, so apparently, there is some type of software bug.  

 

When I went to resubmit my return, TT recognized that my State had already been "paid" but not my Federal.  Federal prompted me to enter all my credit card info again and re-submit.  Since I know my cc was already charged a very large sum of payment, I am not submitting again.  

 

This is very bad customer service on TT part.  Don't allow payment of return until the return is officially "accepted."  Plus, I am not going to to take a chance on a duplicate charge getting that reversed with IRS bureaucracy for months.  Horrible customer service and process.
