Yes, if you made nondeductible traditional IRA contributions then only the earnings will be taxable on your 2020 tax return when you report the conversion. You only need to amend your 2020 tax return if you didn't report the conversion (Form 1099-R) on it. When did you file the 2020 amended return? Did you mail the return?
