Get your taxes done using TurboTax
My 2021 return was processed before 12/20/22, so entering "0" for AGI would not be an option.
I am confused by your comment about rounding, since I'm not the one rounding, but my understanding is Turbotax will.
- That is, the 2021 AGI amount the IRS has on record for me includes cents, since that paper return submitted was not rounded.
- So my question is, if I specify the actual non-rounded 2021 AGI amt to TT, will TT round it before submitting to IRS?
- If TT does not round the 2021 AGI amt I give it, then that would match my 2021 return, so presumably no problem.
- But if TT rounds the 2021 AGI amt I specify, and submits the rounded amt to IRS, then obviously that won't exactly match the actual amount the IRS has for my 2021 return, so wouldn't that cause IRS to reject the e-file?
