To follow up on the comments from JamesG1, you can only upload a pdf of a 1099-B if you are using TurboTax online. Because you are using TurboTax CD/download, you will need to enter the transactions individually given that they were not reported to the IRS. In TurboTax CD/download, the process described in the previous post is somewhat different. Follow these steps to enter your transactions
- Select the Personal tab.
- Select the Personal Income tab.
- On the next screen you will see the option to Walk me through everything, and the option to I'll choose what to work on. Select the latter.
- Scroll down the screen to Investment Income and select Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other.
- Enter your information.
