This line is "Other expenses", which means you have to enter a description and a number. Errors here are common because the description will carry forward from the prior year and the program will insist on a figure for each description.
- Select Federal from the left side menu, then Wages & Income.
- Click Review to the right of Self-employment income and expenses.
- Click Review again toward the bottom of the screen.
- Click Edit to the right of Other miscellaneous expenses.
- You will see a list of descriptions and the expense amounts, delete any incomplete entries by clicking the little trash can to the right of the entry.
- When all incomplete entries are deleted, click Continue to save your change.
- Click Federal Review on the left side menu to verify this has fixed the issue.
