IND 31-04 and AGI is correct
Married filed Jointly, my Federal return has been rejected with a 31-04 error. We verified via the IRS transcript that our combined AGI is correct, but I am being asked to enter my spouse's AGI. Since we filed jointly, there is no separate AGI for my spouse or me. We also tried entering $0. Unfortunately, neither the last year's AGI nor Zero AGI works. I paid Intuit $25 to efile my state taxes, but my state was rejected because the Federal is rejected. Last year, I entered an AGI of 0 when I got this error, but that is not working this year.
How do I get my $25 efile payment back from Intuit? Or how do I determine my spouse's AGI for a 'married filed jointly return?
