I ended up sending by mail. Several things with Turbo Tax are starting to bother me: 1- Charging for e filing state returns and the hassle of going through their website when paying. 2- Having to enter the same bank and drivers license info for both the state and federal returns. Why can't the software just populate the state with the federal info that you've already entered? 3- When you run into a snag like we have, the help Intuit provides is very thin, not impressed.
I've used Turbo for years, but might shop around next year.
