Cannot enter Medicare wages in excess of $9,999,999.99 on W-2 form.

I have a W-2 where the Medicare wages are more than $10,000,000.00. This is due to prepayment of FICA taxes on a lump sum pension payment that my former employer required. I'm using Turbo Tax Home and Business for 2022. When I try to enter the W-2 data, I get an error message stated as above and I can't over-ride or ignore it to get the W-2 in. This seems like a bug to me that can and should be easily fixed. Clearly there is no limit on Medicare wages so why is TurboTax imposing one?  I've worked around it by creating a second W-2 from the same employer with 0's in all boxes except Medicare Wages (box 5). Together they add up to all the right numbers, but this is clunky and perhaps causing miscalculations elsewhere.
