Hello,
I had my first hospital stay ever, last year. I'll use fake numbers here but it's the concept I need help with. My annual medical insurance deductible is $6500. Because of my surgery, I had to pay the entire deductible (the surgery cost way more than that).
Where do I enter this expense? I did not pay it directly TO the hospital but to the insurance company FOR the hospital stay.
The insurance company and hospital are the same "brand."
Where I think I should put it is in "Medical Facility Fees" but since I didn't pay the money directly TO the hospital, but to the insurance, should it go somewhere else?
