Get your taxes done using TurboTax
Thank you!
That employer number worked. I had followed the directions, did not enter it as a 1099, and it still was asking for that when I got to the review stage.
Now my other question is, is TurboTax subtracting what it needs to do so that the Frontline Pay is not showing up as taxable? When I entered it, the amount due for State taxes increased. I cannot see the detailed forms to make sure it is calculating as the state directed:
- Is not taxable in Minnesota and not included in household income. If you report the payment on line 8 of Schedule 1, subtract it on these lines:
- Line 29 of Schedule M1M, Income Additions and Subtractions.
- Line 10 of Form M1PR, Homestead Credit Refund (for Homeowners) and Renter’s Property Tax Refund.
- Line 5b of Schedule M1ED, K-12 Education Credit.
Does TurboTax automatically do that? Is there a spot I can check?
Thanks again for your help!
