I did not create this post but am having this same problem. I am using the desktop version. A month ago I did a return for a relative and was able to download the data with their ML login id and password. No problem at all. Now I am trying to the same thing with my wife's ML account and keep getting the message "Please attempt your login again, if you continue to have difficulty contact Merrill Lynch." ML says it is a turbo tax problem. They said there is no 3rd party access switch that allows TT or any other user to access the information. That if the id and password works on the browser it should work on downloading to TT. At wits end...have had such good service from ML and TT except for this one issue.
Any other ideas?
