The second page of the letter from the IRS with the EIN for the estate I am personal representative for had the name control associated with the EIN. This was different from the name-control that TurboTax Business constructed from the name of the business (or estate) I had entered. I think it would be helpful if TurboTax Business suggested that you look for the correct name control here before having to call an IRS help line, particularly since the IRS is currently understaffed.
