No. In TurboTax Business, you can actually enter Form 1099-OID, including an amount from Box 8.
To enter Form 1099-OID information into TurboTax Business:
- Select Federal Taxes in the top ribbon
- Select Wages & Income
- On the How do you want to enter your income? screen, select I'll choose what I work on
- On the Your 2022 Income Summary page, scroll down to Interest and Dividends, and select Start to the right of 1099-OID, Foreign Accounts
- On the Miscellaneous Investment Income screen, select the checkbox to the left of Form 1099-OID for original issue discount income, then select Continue
- Select Yes on the Any OID for 2022? screen
- Select I'll type it in myself, then Continue on the Let Us Enter Your 1099-OID screen
- On the Original Issue Discount screen, enter all appropriate amounts, then select Continue
- Complete the 1099-OID portion of the interview
