My 1099-B for the sales of non-qualified stock options through work, shows that no taxes were withheld....However, federal and state taxes were withheld at each point of sale. Why isn't this showing on my 1099-B? My employer properly listed the proceeds on my W-2 box 12 under code V. I just don't want to have to pay taxes on them twice.
