TurboTax technical staff need to accept what people are telling them. There is a bug in the application that occurs after some imports from financial institutions. I know this problem is triggered by Fidelity imports. The file menu appears to be trying to open another application or popup. I can see it trying to add a new program in the Microsoft taskbar at the bottom of the screen and fails. In Task Manger, you can see Turbotax goes into a 'non responsive' state briefly. Clearing browser cache, Turbotax updates, Windows updates have no effect in correcting the problem. There may be a browser, windows setting or security software setting that is preventing Turbotax from accomplishing whatever it is attempting to do.
