I(20M) used to live at the same house with my dad in 2022, the rent was being shared by 2 families which is our and my aunts (we rented a big house and lived together because it is easier to take care of our grandma). Everyone was paying their part of the rent (including me) so I was able to write a portion of it (used as an office) along with many other work-related stuff off because I am a dependent contractor. I just found out through my aunt that he filed me as his dependent, does that effect the ability to write off my expenses or increase my taxes? If yes then how do I get myself out of this situation? (This is probably not necessary but yes I made 3,4x his yearly $).
