Last year, for the first time in 40+ years, I did not use TurboTax (yes, I go all the way back to DOS versions). I used H&R Block's desktop program due to issues I was having with TurboTax and Minnesota tax computations.
Anyhow, import from pdf DOES NOT WORK! I've tried printing from H&R Block for the entire tax return and for form 1040 only. Neither works. Reports "Unsuccessful." No reason. Just "You Lose."
How long have you been working on this import function? 10 years? 20 years? And it doesn't work? You should just give up and admit you can't do it.
Very frustrating.
Maybe I'll just have to go and buy the HR& Block program again and abandon TurboTax for good.
