You can share your return with a specialist. These are our staff that can make a change like this.
The return will be "sanitized", meaning all names, social security numbers and personal references are removed.
We will then be able to determine the source of the issue.
If you agree, please follow these steps:
TurboTax Desktop/Download Versions:
- Open your return.
- Click the Online tab in the menu bar across the top of TurboTax
- Select “Send Tax File to Agent”
- This will generate a message that a diagnostic copy will be created.
- Click on OK and the tax file will be sanitized and transmitted to us.
- Please provide the Token Number that was generated in the response.
- Please include @JohnB5677 in your reply so that I get a notification and can follow up on the process.
