You should report the state estimated tax in 2022 in the federal section.
- Open your Return.
- Select Personal tab from the top.
- Select Deductions and Credits.
- Select I'll choose what I work on .
- Scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid.
- Select Start/Update next to Estimates
- Select Start/update next to State estimated taxes in 2022
- Select the state and enter the amount..
You can switch to Forms mode and check The amount entered on Tax Payments worksheet.
