It sounds like you have a Schedule C rolled over from last that you either don't need for this year, or you didn't fully review.
To resolve that:
- Open your return and click on Federal on the left.
- Click on Income & Expenses.
- Click on Edit/ Add to the right of Self-employment income and expenses.
- This will take you to the Your 2022 self-employed work summary screen.
- You will see a gray bar with your self-employment activity below it. If you don't have income or expenses to report here, click the trash can icon to the right, confirm your delete and return to Review again.
- If you have income and expenses to report here select Edit next to your self-employment entry.
- Answer the questions until you come to the Here's your (name) info page.
- Select Start beside each category to enter your income and expenses.
- Keep going until you have answered all of the questions in the section.
