Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Since you have insurance through your job, you should enter any Form 1095-A information unless you also had coverage through the HealthCare Market Place.

You might have accidentally opened the prompt "Affordable Care (Form 1095-A) and information is now stuck in this section.

To find the errors on your Form 1095-A follow the steps below :

  1. Sign in to TurboTax and select Fix my return
  2. On the Let's fix your returns and then refile screen, select Fix it now
  3. Select Continue on the Let's take a look at your return screen
  4. You’ll get taken back to the Keep going to refile your returns screen. From here, select Federal from the left menu
  5. Select Deductions & Credits from the top menu and scroll down to Medical. Select Show more
  6. Select Start or Revisit next to Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A)
  7. Answer NO to the question "Did you receive Form 1095-A for your health insurance plan?
  8. When you’re done, select File from the left menu and continue through to refile your return

The other option is to delete Form 1095-A:

  1. Select Tax Tools from the left menu, then
  2.  Tools, then Delete a form.
  3. You shouldn’t see Form 8962 or Form 1095-A in the forms list.
  4.  If you do see these forms, select Delete next to the name of the form to remove it from your return
