I agree with all of the above, except for this part: "save the installation file from the CD to a thumb drive and transfer it to the no CD computer."
I couldn't find a way to copy the installation files for MacOS off the CD when the CD was mounted on my PC, because I didn't see any MacOS installation files. The TT support person I talked to said that some CDs only have installation files for a single platform, even though the box is labeled as Windows/Mac, and that is how the item was listed on Amazon
