8915-f work around for "covid-19" in box C
To get rid of the COVID-19 that is listed in the C section (online service), go to the screen for reporting 2020 related disasters under Income-retirement distributions section >uncheck the box for covid>hit continue. On the next screen, in the drop down pick any disaster and hit continue. Now you must hit the BACK button to go to the screen where you just selected from the drop down menu > In the drop down menu, goto the top and select the blank space at the very top of the list > once selected hit the BACK button again. You should be on the screen for 2020 disasters > go ahead and reselect the box beside Covid-19> enter amounts into boxes below as needed or verify information and hit continue. Now verify information on each screen and hit continue until you have reached the done with income screen and hit done. In the left side bar, select FILING > go through the process until you reach the review your returns. Scroll to the 8915-f form and verify that COVID-19 is not listed in the C section and the box in the D section is selected. After confirming that you're good to file. My return was accepted in 10mins after this fix. 2 rejections before this fix. hope this helps
