Dear @DaveF1006 : I contacted a tax agent today for filing my returns and she mentioned that as W2 is already generated and the copies of W2 are already notified to CA and Fed, you cannot get your money back from CA state for the months that I did not stay.I also mentioned to her what you suggested me to do in MY INFO boxes (15-18).
She advised me to get W2 changed by my employer.
Can you please advise me here what to do?
