- Yes. You can file the final return using your drivers license (or indicate she doesn't have one) and personal identification number (PIN). The PIN is anything you want it to be each year so it has no real association with last year's tax return for your mother. If there does happen to be any issue with your drivers license then you can print and mail the tax return without reservation.
