I will seek a full refund or dispute the charges with my credit card company. There was no explanation as to why I couldn’t pay with my refund as usual or why I wouldn’t be able to file following submitting a payment for services to file my taxes. This is absolutely ridiculous. Everyone else I know who has used other tax prep services has filed already, and some are already receiving their refunds. There is no reason that the date has moved around, and the forms are available. This feels like theft.
