Dear Turbo Tax folks: are any of you monitoring this thread? Hopefully so but then given your track record to date on it I am wondering if maybe you all have your head buried in the sand or up your .......... but I digress. I am putting this here to let you know that I intend on filing with another service and then disputing the charges for the services I have not received. Technically I would almost think this is theft by deception as at no point prior to you accepting my payment did you notify me that I would not be able to file. And you are laying it all on the IRS not having the form available which from what I can tell is untrue.
I hope that everyone reading this does the same although they (Intuit) probably could not care less. This is ridiculous to the point now where I feel like Charlie Brown and the **bleep** football. You keep telling us that it will be available on a certain date, we show up all hopeful that maybe just maybe Lucy will keep the ball there so we can kick it only to once again fall flat on our a$$. But we show up again 2 weeks later for the same futile exercise, shame on us now (once shame on you but now it's on us). Let's do this thing people, enough is enough and as they have not provided the service we paid for at the time we paid for them (with no caveat from Intuit about the problem until after the funds were sent) I believe that getting our $$$ back should be easy.
