#1. Look in the upper right for Print Center. This will let you select what forms to print. Also, during the e-file process, it will ask you 2 or 3 times if you want to print a copy of your return (or at least make a PDF that you can reprint later). You should always make a copy of your return as filed, because we are always seeing comments from users who wished that they had a copy for one reason or another.
2. "Is it possible that Turbotax is looking at my unsubmitted data to do some of these calculations? " Absolutely. TurboTax doesn't know if you filed it or not.
Deleting last year's return is not enough because you would also need to delete your current year return and start over. I am guessing that you don't want to do that.
