there have been questions on the forum for years about how to report crypto but couldn't get import of csv to work.
I use to think you could just reorder your csv file into the order on Form 8949.
then somebody posted a sample CSV file.
It would require major programming to turn that into the form and manner of Form 8949.
This is the first thread I've ever seen that says, after importing CSV file, it is collapsed down to one summary line.
maybe that is new behavior this year. (I don't have any crypto transactions)
maybe its always been doing that. First I've heard of it on this forum.
