The attachment is the statement from your broker. It's not something that TurboTax creates. TurboTax will create Form 8453 when you go through the filing section and select that you want to e-file your tax return. If you file by mail instead of e-filing you do not need Form 8453. You just attach a copy of the brokerage statement to your mail-filed tax return.
