After I auto-import my details from coinbase (by connecting to my coinbase account, not by uploading a csv file directly), I can see the list of transactions available. So I worked all the way until I can choose how to file in the end. What's weird to me is, since I decide to file by mail, after I printed out all the forms, what I can see for my form 8949 is that it has only one transaction called "Coinbase - see attached statement" with the aggregated transaction values (proceeds, cost basis etc.). But the whole printed state+fed return doc don't include any attachment at all to explain what that entry is. Is this expected? How can I resolve this?
