I talked to 5 different Turbo Tax Reps for about 4 hours about this issue on 2/22/2023 (recorded the whole conversation), got disconnected by the first rep after several minutes, finally was told by the 4th representative that I would be connected to a Turbo Tax tech support rep by the name of Camille (representative # 5), who (Camille, representative #5) told me she's not a tech support representative, and that Turbo Tax doesn't have any tech support reps to help with Turbo Tax tech issues. THE FIRST THREE TURBO TAX REPS told me that the CD Versions are corrupted (I had bought and installed a CD Version). They then asked me to uninstall the CD Version, and they gave me a free online download version (AFTER OFFERING ME A "REDUCED PRICE" FOR THE ONLINE DOWNLOAD VERSION, WHICH I DISPUTED). The issue still was not resolved.
All the Turbo Tax representatives stated that this Mac keychain password issue is a Mac issue, not a Turbo Tax issue. With Turbo Tax rep #5 (Camille), I asked if we could conference and screenshare (both Turbo Tax rep and Apple Support tech rep screensharing), and we did screenshare. The Apple Tech Support Tech person was very professional AND knowledgeable, and after spending about 20 minutes, with the Turbo Tax rep on conference and screenshare, the Turbo Tech rep said she had to leave. This was after the Apple Support Tech Person went through several troubleshoots with me, and finally stated this is a Turbo Tax issue, NOT a Mac issue. The Turbo Tax rep told me she'd call me back in 30 minutes, and as I suspected, she never called back. Instead, I received at least three email messages from Turbo Tax stating that this case number is closed! THE APPLE TECH SUPPORT PERSON sent me to this site (saying Apple has gotten calls from many Mac users about this issue) which as of 2/22/2023 had over 5,000 complaints regarding this issue, but today, 2/26/2023, I see well over 6,000 complaints about this issue. I got back pain and chest pain during this 4+ hour ordeal with Turbo Tax, and the issue is still not resolved. -I have been using Turbo Tax for about 30 years, and I AM AT A LOSS HOW A COMPANY OF THIS STATURE CAN IGNORE AN ISSUE LIKE THIS, AND ALSO CLAIM THAT TURBO TAX (INTUIT) DOESN'T HAVE ANY TURBO TAX TECH SUPPORT SPECIALISTS TO HANDLE THIS ISSUE! -MICHAEL S.
