Get your taxes done using TurboTax
Hey @CarissaM ,
Thank you so much for the suggestion! My TurboTax Home & Business version is at the most current version based on the auto-update/manual update option within the software. I followed the link that you shared, downloaded the file, and attempted to install manually, but the installation throws an error stating that TurboTax 2022 isn't installed on my computer. It IS installed, and I pulled the .exe file into the same folder as where my TurboTax version is installed. My guess is that the update that you pointed to is not for my version, but to a different version of TurboTax.
All the same, the TurboTax "Review" section still gets stuck in this loop. In running the Review process, it says that the Form 3800 is not yet released by the IRS and that I cannot proceed with my filing until it's available. When I request the system to send me an email update once available, I get the email within minutes indicating that it's now available and that I can continue with my filing. It's stuck in that loop pattern, and I cannot get past it. This is apparently a bug within TurboTax, and I don't know how to get around it. I cannot proceed further due to this issue.
Is it possible that it's looking for information within the Form 3800 that is not complete? It doesn't indicate such in the Review results, but I suppose it could be a possibility?
Any idea as to what options I have?
Thank you so much for your consideration!
