Get your taxes done using TurboTax

I found a problem with how Turbotax is calculating a 1099 R distribution. I have a 401k distribution that was documented on one 1099R that was split between a Roth IRA and a Traditional IRA. It was a total distribution from the 401k so that box is clicked. However for example if only 100k of a 500k distribution went to the Roth IRA, The 1099R  shows 100k as the taxable amount of the of the distribution.  However when I complete entering the 1099R into Turbotax it treats the entire 500k as taxable. When I tried to override the 1099 Form to show a partial distribution to the Roth IRA, it won't allow me. There doesn't seem to be a way to do this. When I enter the code G for the distribution code - it automatically flags a total distribution to the Roth IRA even though only 100k should have been recorded.  I tried to manually create a 1099 from - and every time I put in code G, it doesn't allow a partial amount to be entered. Turbotax is not handling a split distribution from a 401k into a Roth and traditional IRA from one 1099 R correctly. Please help correct the problem or advise a work around.
