Regardless of who is at fault, this tests the abilities for company's to remain agile.  They must assume that partners will be constantly changing, refactoring, updating their technololgy and full transparency and communication by all parties is a luxury.  Mint has not been agile in this regard. Their platform is hugely valuable for empowering many consumers including myself to manage their complicated finances in simple and intuitive ways, but they have too many "single-points of failure" that renders their platform useless to consumers if there's a problem with connecting with only one of their major accounts. How can they work around the connectivity/blocking issue? How about a bulk csv or statement upload feature that the consumer can bypass direct connectivity and the system automatically reads in all transactions? And it needs to be more than manually entering transactions one-by-one (which btw is a show stopper for most people who have many transactions each day). Hopefully they figure it out sooner than later, because they're losing people
