Get your taxes done using TurboTax

You will be able to make the adjustments in the state section of TurboTax.  Look for the screen below (the first one is New York and the second is New Jersey)- you will want to indicate that you want to change the residency.  They are both close to the beginning of the state returns.  Follow the questions carefully, and keep in mind in general the first name on the tax return is usually the "you" in the questions.  It will go through the residency and dates, and where you earned the income.
