941/944 Should I write a letter in?

We received two contradicting letters in the mail:

Q3 2022 -- we've changed your filing from 944 to 941. Please continue to file 941 for the rest of 2022.

Q4 2022 -- we've received your 941 for Q4 but cannot process because you need to file a 944 for 2022.

We do not fall into the <$1000 tax liability for 944.

We spoke on the phone with the IRS and the agent told us that due to the first letter, she would ensure all 2022 filings were 941, and instructed for 2023 to file a 944 because of the second letter.

She provided a name and agent number.

I asked if we were going to receive a confirmation letter in the mail and she said no.

Should I now write into the IRS using the letters they sent me confirming the direction of the phone call? Or would that be opening a can of worms that isn't necessary?

Thank you.
