If you are referring to the IRS Identify Protection PIN, that is entered in a different location from the e-file pin. To enter the Identity Protection PIN in TurboTax online, follow these steps:
- Click Other Tax Situations from the left side panel
- Scroll down to Other Return Info, Click Start next to Identity Protection PIN
- Answer Yes to "Did anyone in your family get an Identity Protection PIN from the IRS for this year's taxes?"
- Add PIN for each member that received a PIN
- Click Done
