There are no reporting requirements for FSAs on your income tax return.  You do not include FSA on your tax return.

 

HSAs or HDHPs which must be reported on your Form 1040.  You will receive reporting documents for HSAs.

 

There is no 1099-SA form or other tax statement for the Flexible Spending Account (FSA), which is different from the Health Savings Account (HSA). FSA funds are already tax-free and not needed for tax purposes.

 

An FSA allows you to contribute pre-tax dollars from your salary. Your employer may also make contributions to your FSA account. You may withdraw the money tax-free if it’s used for qualifying expenses.
