You do not need to reboot before trying to save your file. I did not reboot and all was fine. You take the risk of loosing all your data you just entered in your Turbo tax if you reboot first. The only issue I have ever had like this is with Turbo tax and only this year. I don’t really think this is an Apple issue, otherwise you would see this issue pop up elsewhere. Turbo tax needs to address this problem. Their customer support are clueless to this problem, at least the person to whom I spoke with. They are not technical people but read from scripts until you get to another technical tier.
