I am married filing jointly. Our taxable income for the year is 101,712. Turbo tax is saying that we owe 8,602,706 in additional medicare tax, a tax that I believe we make less than the threshhold amount to pay regardless, much less paying 8x more than our income . I am not sure how it is coming up with this number, or how to correct for filing.
