I'm sorry Carissa, but it didn't help at all.
Based on the link you sent I get the impression that you do not have a clear picture of the problem, so here is a link to a video of exactly what I am seeing when clicking on the Turbotax icon (after it downloads updates). The only thing I could think of is that there is something about my Internet connection that blocks Turbotax from connecting. I tried using another person's Internet provider and it didn't help. I do have McAffee Internet Security installed on my computer, and if your experts insist that is the problem I will uninstall it. Please try to find out. I see that others are having the same problem; it must be a rather common problem. Any info you can forward that might be helpful will be appreciated.
