1099-B Wash Sale Correction
Hello, when I import my 1099-B from Tdameritrade, this captures all transactions as wash sale, so my tax liability is a lot more.
How can i track transactions that not be categorized as wash sale?
So, For example, I bought 10 shares of ABC at 100 Bucks, Total 1000. Now I sold it at 90. Loss = 1000-900=$100
Now, I understand that I cannot realize that 100 bucks IF i buy ABC again in say 5 days for 80 bucks.
Now consider I SOLD it all at 80 bucks again before 12/31. So my total LOSS on that ABC purchase is 100+0= 100
I should be able to remove that 100 from wash sale right? the TD ameritrade statement does not reflect that. And When I import it on Turbotax, it is still calling those are wash sales. How can I get around it?
