Hi, I just found out that I can claim $500 for Energy Incentives as I replaced windows in 2021.
After I amended my 2021 tax with $500 refund in TurboTax, I have to mail it.
Now my question is that can I instruct in 2021 tax amendment to apply this $500 refund to 2022 tax year and mail it, then claim that $500 credit in my 2022 tax return, which will be due in April?
What I want to avoid is to mail the 2021 tax amendment and not sure when it will be processed, while I know that my 2022 tax will be due over $500.
