Get your taxes done using TurboTax
Error code SH-F1040-520-01 indicates a problem with the Schedule H included with your return.
You should revisit the Household Employee section of your return to verify that your entries are accurate, especially the Federal ID number that was entered.
Use the following steps to get started:
- On the top row of the TurboTax online screen, click on Search (or for CD/downloaded TurboTax locate the search box in the upper right corner)
- This opens a box where you can type in “household employee taxes, sch h” (be sure to enter exactly as shown here) and click the magnifying glass (or for CD/downloaded TurboTax, click Find)
- The search results will give you an option to “Jump to household employee taxes, sch h”
- Click on the blue “Jump to household employee taxes, sch h” link and enter your information
