One of the qualifications for claiming the Colorado Early Childhood Educator Credit is based on the Federal Adjusted Gross Income (AGI). Your Federal AGI must be less than or equal to $75,000 if filing a single return or less than or equal to $150,000 if filing jointly.
If your Federal AGI does not fall below those limits, then according to some test cases, you will not see an option to claim the credit on your Colorado return.
