Get your taxes done using TurboTax

I have the same problem and also receive a W-2 from tri-net , a professional employer organization.  It seems that Tri-Net serves as my employer of record (I do not work for Tri-Net) in order to manage the benefits and HR as the W-2 lists Tri-Net as the employer.  I believe that what happened is that I switched to a new company in July 2022 and both companies used Tri-Net, as I see both companies in my Tri-Net account when I log in.  Both companies are in California.  So apparently Tri-net has combined them both on the same W-2.  The federal portion looks like it was added together, however the state part , lines 15 through 20, have two lines with 2 different CASDI, presumably from the two different employers.  I created 2 lines in Turbo Tax by "Add another state" and then selecting California for both states.  As described above, I received an error statement saying that I could not have 2 lines with the same state name and Turbo Tax returned me to the page and asked me to fix the error.  I clicked that I had fixed the error and Turbo Tax allowed me to proceed and did not send me anymore error messages.  So it appears that I was able to get Turbo Tax to accept the entry, but my question is will Turbo tax correctly calculate my taxes, especially the state portion?  Also, should Tri-Net have sent me a separate W-2 for each company instead of combining them?
