I failed to correctly fill out the Qualified Disaster Distribution section on my 2021 return and am now amending both my Federal and NM state for this mistake. I am now adding 1/3 of the 2020 amount into the amended return for 2021, but instead of the a $5000 increase in my AGI, the NM state return shows a $9250 increase. I can't figure out why there is a discrepancy. When I am in the main page of my Federal return, where it should be showing a side by side comparison of my original return with the amended comparison, there are no changes shown; I don't see where the $5000 (1/3 amount) was added.
