Missouri non-resident return timeline
1st time filing a MO non-resident state return. TurboTax said it was accepted on 02/01/23, with an expected refund date of 2/8/23. the MO state tracker said it was received on 2/7/23, and on 2/8/23 it began the validation process which the MO site says can take up to 12 weeks. Following validation, there’s processing and then completed. Since TurboTax just makes up dates instead of actually giving accurate information, and timelines, then charges you for a service you didn’t select, hoping someone here can give me a legitimate timeline on the direct deposit hitting my account. 12 weeks, 16 weeks, 20 weeks? I filed 1/31/23 and again TurboTax stated the return was accepted 2/1/23 while MO stated received on 2/7/23, validating starting 2/8/23. Thanks in advance, they are also never any representatives available to help. Would have switched this year had HR Block not had system issues preventing me from filing my state return at all, I would have used them for free instead of paying over $150 for less refund that cost more and takes longer!
